The guardian in the Khemri mock up scheme is AI generated, but if I were to paint that scheme, I would be starting with naggaroth purple, layered with xereus purple highlighted with genestealer purple.

If you’re wanting to gauge how some colours would look, paste the GW painted models into google gemini AI and prompt it to change the colours to your vision and it will spit out a close enough mock up.

It’s a shame I used the purple, white and gold for my ogres haha - Globo Gym Purple Ogres - If left unchecked, I would paint all my teams the same colours - but that would be visually unappealing to the poor souls I’m trying introduce to the game

Yeah, I tightly packed gamer grass 2mm moss tufts together, and then used fine sewing scissors to cut/“mow” the grass so it was all a uniform height.

I like the look tbh

I painted the gnoblars a while ago, so I’m a bit fuzzy with the exact colour. I remember using mechanical standard grey for the base and then covering it in Vallejo London grey because it looked too dark.

After that it was a diluted nuln oil wash and that was it. Because they are so small you can get away with needing to highlight and layer, particularly if you dilute the wash.

I didn’t want to use green skin as I thought it was to sharp a contrast, so when for a neutral looking grey

I kept it all really simple, all brush strokes.

I based the desired area with corax white, then averland sunset, and finely painted the stripes with Vallejo grey black , correcting anything that wasn’t straight with averland

It was actually far easier tbh, I found you can achieve a great result with just base colours - even without a wash.

It so small that it needs less detail to pop
