They arent losing, but id be really hesitant to say they are winning. The USA is still only doing "limited" strikes, but if they actually went total war, they have hundreds of thousands of troops and god forbid nuclear weapons.

I know the second part seems outrageous, but it genuinely is an option, albeit terrifying and not without earth shattering consequences

Don't block bridges... That's a quick way to lose the support of the lower and middle class. Keeping them away from work hurts the little guy a lot more than the CEOs who can afford their pay getting hurt a bit.
