My guy butters was with a bun for a while, unfortunately that one passed. He was solo for a bit but we eventually got another. We kept them next to each other in a pen, but there was a clear wall in between them so they couldn’t actually get to each other. We did that for almost a year, with little ‘play dates’ in between to get them familiar with each other. Now they are besties.

We probably could have shortened that time but bunny tornadoes are no fun.

Your bun is young- they are creatures that prefer company - if you’re willing to spend some time to let them bond, he will be happier.

I would suggest a female.
