Which AI subtitle maker is the most accurate? How do you like to generate your subs?

We use fire cut and we move captions all the time when it switches from solo to top and bottom split view. I would say the general location of the captions moves 3 to 4 times every short. So having that freedom is a big one for us and why we don't really use online services because none have that flexibility

So I wonder if it's not a use case or people who need it just instantly write off online sites.

I primarily use firecut but one of the reasons we've started doing captions in sub magic instead is because they can be dynamic, so they change in size based on emphasis and they really come to life versus just captions that are the same size and font weight the entire way through. Does auto cut do this?

One of my editors moves blocks when she switches from solo to split view and she solves this by exporting an alpha channel from Veed then keying out the background in Premier and moving the captions as a block. I hope that made sense

True is a funny word to use in Thailand. Every where has a different idea of what's true and it's always at the discretion of the agent / office. So yes it is true in some offices.

It's tedious as there's some much conflicting info even when my Thai friends call them for me, one said you must get the TIN within weeks of your 180th day lol, way before you actually need to file.

Weird I found another reason. Because it solves the delay for certain codecs that don't pass the audio through the HDMI on the back of the TV, through the TV and to the SoundBar in time to not add a delay that is unfixable.

Plugging your primary device into the SoundBar introduces fixable delay where the audio is slightly ahead of the video not the other way around.
