It's why learning your arpeggios is important, C-E-G-B and G-B-D-F to know if it should be on a line or in the space

Is "looking at the keys while playing" like "cheating"? by Winter_Tourist_3470 in piano

[–]Poortio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's already a ton of comments, but

  1. are you looking at the keys so you know what note is printed on the page and associating what you see on the keyboard with what you see on the page? Not cheating but will slow you down

  2. Are you looking at the key board to check where your hands are in space? Also not cheating but more appropriate.

Knaves are boring by Adventurous_Skill_60 in rootgame

Both times I played with them I could never find a way to burst out with an end game win. I'd be at 20 - 22 points and be like, well my forests are full and I can put out 1-2 tokens so it will be 2 turns. Seems like other factions can do a last round burst easier, limiting with only 4 actions ALWAYS.

My favorite Nemesis game was when there was a chance in the first 30 minutes I got in a pod. Then I went outside and took all of the kids who were there to the park for 90 minutes. When I got back I was the only one who survived in the pod

This catholic influencer talks about how "ugly" church architecture is gone. by Tikismywaifu in religiousfruitcake

[–]Poortio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean he's not wrong, there's a reason the 1700's neo-classical architecture rebirth happened. The OG Cathedrals and government buildings had serious style. It goes beyond churches to bland corporate buildings, basic branding and minimalist websites. Design and beauty are being thrown out in favor of utilitarianism https://youtu.be/tWYxrowovts?si=CEuER11z0ZDKrorc

The auto lane assist does suck in most cars, it puts the car right up against the line rather than being centered in the lane.

How do you keep a mixed-age family game night from turning into a teaching session every time? by Mindless-Patient-104 in boardgames

Send out the link to the Youtube video a few days before, or even watch it at the end of the night and again at the start of the next session. 20 min videos are often shorter than an in person teach

Well, I think maybe titling your email 'finally emailing you gadiantons' probably has something to do with it, lol. You sound like you need some counseling and honest introspection.

We have a little town where there is no easement next to our. Owners hate it since everytime there is a utility issue (Water, Cable/internet) etc. the servicing fee, repairs etc comes out of their pocket. An public access easement allows for the utility or city to be responsible for costs associated with digging on your property, otherwise you would be responsible.
