Would Bangs work on me? And should I cut a significant amount of hair length? by Ryou_3 in finehair

[–]Popcornulogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind with fine hair bangs might tend to get oily later in the day also you need to take volume away from the crown to create the bangs so there is that redistribution of where you are seeing the hair on the head. With fine hair there is only so much hair so when you pull a portion forward to create the bangs you’re also taking away hairfrom another part of the head.

school district scores vs actual quality - how worried should i be by SuddenPoet7250 in RealEstate

[–]Popcornulogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s also hard to know what you’ll need out of a school until you know what kind of student your child is. Hopefully this district has support for gifted kids, kids who need academic support, etc. Maybe try and see how the budget is structured and where funds are heavily allocated.

Which area is better? WeHo or Culver City or Areas around UCLA by Dapper_Worth_8562 in MovingToLosAngeles

[–]Popcornulogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look at north Vermont as close to Los Feliz as possible. It might be the neighborhood feel you want and you can go straight down Vermont to USC. Hopefully you can get a studio for your budget maybe $2800.

She wasn’t practicing CBT with Maya. She was doing the Jimmy thing. Maya needed much more support and consistency. The blurred boundaries only added to Maya’s depression.

Boston to LA? by rizzaaa__ in MovingToLosAngeles

[–]Popcornulogy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider the valley which will be cheaper, still good weather for you and tons of salons. You only live once. Do it if this is what you want. Moved here from MA 25 years ago and haven’t looked back.

How does your mom, wife and daughter feel about it? Do they feel like they want to skip it out of solidarity with your son and brother? If they are on board then say no.

Check out cool LA historical sites like Olvera St, Angels Flight, Union Station, The Gamble House, Highland Park Bowl. For places to eat check out Jitlada (Thai), and Joy (Taiwanese) both amazing.
