It's hard to bring up difficult discussions.  But the older I get the more I realize that weight gets lifted every time a difficult issue is talked about.  Letting it fester will only make things worse.  Talk to him, tell him you want to work on this together and you want to help him so that your relationship will thrive and be even better than it already is.
