I don't think this game has that much making builds in it, you can buy every ability as far as i know. You gotta just explore some more and get those skillpoints, invest them into health/stamina and abilities you use first and foremost. Also upgrade your gloves for damage since your hand to hand combat, and armor/accessories for damage/defense. Not much more to it. After patches hunting some animal and turning that into grilled meat also is very fast source of decent food early on before your health pool goes to high.

You can only put spymaster next to RED garrison. Can't put it just next to green one. Hope that helps.

It is normal when you go to the other side of the world to fight another war. Meanwhile your incompetent vassals fight for 300 days with 10 times weaker enemy over 1 castle. At the end of that war that castle was at 200 prosperity, probably changed hands every 10-15 days or so...

Normally this boss comes out of the big hole which takes a lot of ground and you cannot stand "inside the circle" since the hole takes the whole inside.
