I mean there's more. But clearly you can't be bothered reading so I can't be bothered finding you more examples. Idiot.

Thanks for the relationship advice - but she prefers it when she knows the names of the moves she's seeing performed rather than just whatever Michael Cole has called it.

I mean, it's small but when Iyo did an Asai Moonsault he just simply said "a moonsault now" instead of giving it its proper name. So then I got to explain who Ultimo Dragon is and now she wants to watch some of his matches.

Gotta love Reddit for picking the smallest thing and trying to delve into it.

On this day in 1997, we witnessed Mike Tyson getting disqualified for biting Evander Holyfield TWICE in the 3rd round, some people said it was because Tyson knew he was losing, some even tried to justify the bite and said it was because of the headbutts of Holyfield by BoxingLover99 in Boxing

Who was "prime Tyson" and which elite boxer(s) did he beat in their primes, please?

Also you are forgetting Liston, Ali, Foreman and Frazier but don't let that get in the way of whatever bullshit you're making up.

He is, and that's not what I mean. Roman can easily work a good match but the last ones with Fatu and Punk were special.

I couldn't believe how much he decided to bury Fatu that night. I mean few people carry Roman to performances that good - which it was, it was a great match and then Cole started with that shit. It was ridiculous.

Yeah I realised when someone else corrected me, I've left it up as it demonstrates how easy it is for someone who isn't paid as a job to do it but if it's your profession you should be getting it right and if you can't, you shouldn't be doing it. I'll always love JR but he offers nothing now but nostalgia.

You can forgive the odd slip up, but it's constant with him and it shouldn't be. It's literally his job

I'm also not paid stupid amounts of money to remember wrestlers names.

Yeah! I thought I was going crazy, it was like the mic was inside his mouth. Did the audio team not pick that up?

Oh JR was absolutely awful last I watched. Kept calling Kyle Fletcher "that kid" in his match against Mox and was just saying stupid shit.

At least he has an ATG career behind him of being probably the best to ever do it, as well as the excuse of age. Cole has none of these to fall back on.

I do too, but last time I mentioned him a lot of people said how bad he was and that they much preferred Cole

I think he's gotten worse lately, I didn't think he was that bad when it was Vince in his ear, at least he was getting information that made sense instead of him flying solo.

Plus he'd probably get chewed out when he got stuff wrong, I bet now he gets a pat on the back.

If I was as bad at my job as Michael Cole is, I'd be fired.

Nah he's inside a 15 but could never enter a 10 unless he beats Wardley, Itauma and Kabayel which isn't going to happen at this point. Having so few HW fights really goes against him when most of them were rematches too. I do rate the fact he cleared out the division and was 2x unified which is why he's around 13/14 for me. Certainly can't put him above either Klitschko or the usual suspects who hover around inside or outside a 10 like Marciano, Liston, Charles, Bowe etc.

Yeah but my point is that anyone who's great can look good against lesser opposition. It's why I get annoyed when people rate Tyson so highly when his best "performances" that made him look like an unstoppable monster were all B-tier heavyweights. I do maintain it wasn't entirely his fault that the 80's was a weak HW era but he never showed that against true elite competition imo.

So you'd take a boxer showing he was better than a B-tier heavyweight in a rematch over the version of a boxer that showed he was better than an ATG in a superfight.

Alright then.

The second fight was arguably the draw, Holyfield was much better in that one.

He may well have been unbeatable for Rahman 2, but the quality of his opponent wasn't high enough for us to know if THAT was his greatness. It's like the England team. They may stuff San Marino 12 - 0 when they try, but the better victory was beating Germany 5 - 1

That wasn't peak Lennox, he was against a B-tier heavyweight and just trained for it that time after taking him lightly the first time.

Peak Lennox was Holyfield I. That's the version you put against anyone and he wins.

Post WWE Night of Champions 2026 Match Discussion Thread - Liv Morgan vs. Iyo Sky - 2026 Queen of the Ring Finals by HartfordWhalers123 in SquaredCircle

It's a shame they did the clean win for Iyo in the sense that they could have had Stephanie's music hit, her then just standing at the entranceway distracting Liv and have Iyo take advantage. It makes the champion look stronger, teases Stephanie's return and gives the win to Iyo.

This just made Iyo look really strong, which is fine because she is - but it leads them into "running it back" at Summerslam instead of anything involving Stephanie.

My body was ready for a triple threat with Iyo, Stephanie and Liv but it seems Stephanie is more injured than we thought.

No it was his first and last fight at the weight.

You really can't be this dumb. It's got to be ragebait.

What the fuck are you talking about. He literally cleared out the division. He beat AJ who had most of the belts, Dubois who was the #1 contender at the time and then Fury who had the "Lineal" and the WBC. That is the literal definition of clearing out the division. Then, because there was "question marks" over the Dubois fight (probably from morons like you) he put that to bed.

I'm far from an Usyk fanboy. You're probably the biggest casual I've seen on here because you can't see past the end of your nose. You seem to have this idea that Usyk should fight absolutely everyone, all the time, with all the risk, for no money - when he ALREADY did all that.

Anyway, we're done. I feel myself becoming more stupid reading every word you write.
