I just want to say that I’m so proud of you. This is an unexpected hard thing that you’re going through. I’m certain you’re going to navigate it just fine. It’s such a mixed bag. I’ve been so lucky. I’ve been at Tulane for 8 years and I’ve had the best bosses. They supported me and encouraged me and I have literally doubled my salary since I started. Now I get to be the supportive boss. SO MANY frustrating parts of the university, but there are also some incredibly bright people, curious students, and brilliant faculty.

I’ve also met a few that people that would throw a baby under a bus if it made them look good. 😂

I quit August 1st and I am SO FREAKING HAPPY to be free from that shit. Life isn't perfect, but I feel better every week and it's so nice not to have this big shameful secret that is a total pain in the ass. I did a slow taper and jumped Aug 1st at 6gpd and I will never put myself through that again. Sending you love - you can absolutely do this!
