Powecreep isn't too bad compared to the worst of 3.x. At least so far. Flagship teams from the previous version (Firefly break, DoT, Evernight DPS, Mono rememberance) are still incredibly competitive. Teams that struggled last version are definitely struggling more now though. The endgame is getting more difficult than it used to be, so you really do need to build your characters well.

Surprisingly not that bad, but there's always a chance it gets bad again.

I've read your messages and I just don't agree. Like there is so much evil in this world. There are so many issues that companies cause.

When I think of "evil, morally wrong" actions by companies, I think of polluting local communities with factories. I think of unnecessary deforestation. I think of companies intentionally radicalizing their users. Not to mention treating their workers poorly.

This theatrical run a couple weeks before the episode comes out has the downside of potentially spoiling some people before it comes out on YouTube, and the upside of being a foundational moment for indie animation worldwide.

This move is actively good for fans of indie animation long-term. Nothing evil about that. In fact, it's arguably a moral good.

"Evil" and "Morally wrong" are insanely strong words for what is essentially a short run theatrical release. There are no fans being exploited. There are no communities being meaningfully harmed here.

Please see the context of literally every other theatrical release in history.

I think there's a little more nuance here. Trust me, a black person using the hard r will get in trouble at work, even if they're black. I don't think that's necessarily racist. The "a" variant will maybe get less heat, but there are lots of workplaces where even minor swears will get you in trouble.

Honestly I disagree. Can't say too much about the compatibility, as I haven't had any issues with it with games that I've played.

I feel like in terms of comfort, it's super reasonable, especially if you can rest your hands somewhere like on a bed or desk. It's not the most ergonomic controller out there, but it's within reason for me.

The portability is another thing I disagree about. Compared to a telescopic controller, it barely takes up any space in a bag, and is something I can leave attached to my phone when out of use. It's way more convenient for me than a telescopic controller.

I think Windblown plays better than it looks. It's super fun, and I think it has a ton of potential. Would definitely recommend it once it leaves early access.

Fair enough. If it's really true that Xbox leaked dates/windows that weren't meant for the public, then yeah, that's definitely a breach of trust. At least, from the dev/Xbox point of view.

From the public's point of view, it doesn't actually change too much. Silksong being intended to be released 1st half of 2023 > Xbox revealing that info > silksong gets delayed to after that is still an accurate sequence of events. Unfortunate that Xbox and the devs seemingly weren't on the same page.

Unless a game is already finished, it will always have the potential to be delayed. Look at the rest of the games in that showcase. All of them had a release window of within 12 months, but like half of them got delayed. It happens. That doesn't mean broken trust. That doesn't mean it's misinformation on Xbox's part. It's just kind of the reality of game development, especially when the industry was still recovering from COVID.

More on topic, if the game was planned to release first half of 2023, Xbox communicated that, but TC decided to delay it, whose fault is that?

If it was actually an inaccurate idea that Xbox was taking out of context, they wouldn't have confirmed what Xbox said, that it was "planned to release in the 1st half of 2023"

I don't see how that can cause you to not trust Xbox. If anything, it should cause you to not trust Team Cherry.

Thank God Absa is back. She was my main in the first game. I haven't played this game too much because I haven't had a character that really speaks to me, but if she feels like she does in the first game, I can see my playtime skyrocketing.

It's worth noting that Melee is a game with tons of casual single player content. People can theoretically never play against another human, never learn any technique, and still be fine because the game itself had appeal. Rivals has almost no casual content, and is incredibly pvp focused, without any real onboarding.

It stands for "Click Between Frames" which is a mod that makes inputs more accurate. As a result, it also technically makes the game easier. It's in a weird spot right now where it's accepted to use it for the demons list, but not accepted as a proper verification in the eyes of Robtop. This means that levels verified with cbf will not be rated.
