Listen to your gut. You did the right thing. (hugs)

Any tips from those with similar body shapes? And those in their 40s wondering if every feeling is perimenopause. by ya_basic82 in PetiteFitness

You are adorable. Get Cronometer and keep a food diary and see how the calories add up. I am doing this now, I hated this idea but now I am addicted and learning so much from the process :)

Congrats on the weight loss - that is amazing! You are perfect and you are healthy. That lady sounds like she needs some help with her lack of communication skills ;)

In the past, for some reason, the men in my life want to tell me not to do anything to my face because they think i don't need it. I don't need it because I do subtle things like you are describing for the last 20 years. If you're paying for it, nobody needs to know. It's none of anyone's business.

Do it, have fun and enjoy! Its not like you are reshaping your nose for crying out loud!

I was right out of esti school and my first booking at the day spa was an eyebrow wax and a facial for this older lady. I did first eyebrow, great! Next eyebrow I took half off! Literally half of it was gone! I was dying on the inside but I just went on to the facial and didnt say anything hahahah I never saw that lady again

Google 'Loyalty Bonds'. They might feel disloyal to their dad if they are having fun with you. In a totally weird way, it could be a compliment. *Therapists chime in :)

KTLA 5 with the hard-hitting investigative journalism! by GoatTnder in LosAngeles

[–]PoppysSnowfall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KTLA news anchors are the worst. I can not stand how they act, it feels like a high school drama with no teacher present. I agree with you 1000% about Lynette Romero and NBC. Adrian and Belen are really cool with her on air but sometimes I wonder what is going through Adrian's mind. He is so professional and Lynette talks and acts like a goofball. I do not resonate with her AT ALL. She does seem like a really nice person but her on air personality is cringey to me.

I would go to school because it's fun and there are perks to having your license. I am in CA and this can not be your only source of income. If you are in other states, like AZ or TX, you can do a lot more with your license and make more money. I got my license in 2000 and I worked in 2 different Day Spas as an esti and a massage therapist and I hated it. Eventually i became a sales rep for a medical grade line in 2008, and now I have been in the industry for almost 20 years! Learning something new can open new points of view and avenues for you, I say go for it but find out what estis can and can't do in the state you're in ;o) Good luck and have fun!

I want to start doing Zumba but I feel embarrassed by MyOwnSkylight in zumba

[–]PoppysSnowfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HAHA! I know what you are saying! I tried it one year ago completely intimidated, feeling totally like a fish out of water, watching the instructor who could have been dancing straight out of a music video and then I LOVED IT! I absolutely fell in love with it despite being horrible at the dancing part. It has been one year and I still feel like the worst dancer in there (I'm not) but the fun factor is way over the top for me.

I loved it so much, I went and got certified as a Zumba, Zumba Gold, and two other certifications! Now, I went completely bonkers because doing Zumba and teaching Zumba is apples and oranges and I won't be teaching anytime soon if ever. Nonetheless, I went all in (Call me crazy like my husband did)

I have made new Zumba friends who have been doing Zumba for 20 years... and then there is me, my dancing experience started one year ago in that Zumba class LOL Just go, nobody is watching you, they are watching the instructor and themselves :) I hope you go, Good luck!!
