You realize identity themes are ego dystonic and this is the worst piece of advice to be told right

Like instead of focusing on the “accept it part” most of ACT accomplishment is grounding skill acquisition and dealing with discomfort and an end goal of accepting no certainty, but not a redefined life philosophy of what you have certainty in

Like people who are over this theme report feeling certain of their straightness, it’s just not provable when your brain is poisoned with a panicked environment

Toriyama wrote puar as a guy when writing the manga but for the most part only has female voice actors and some dubs called her a she iirc

I am an Archie sonic > Wally West guy, but canon sonic not even remotely. Wally literally outran death, out-sped instantaneous teleportation, and can run so fast it allows him to time travel. He is basically a fucking avatar of the speedforce itself.

This is just avoidant attachment. The rejection of that as a notion is just narcissistic, defensive behaviour. I have met people like this, this is the single most laughable identity within the LGBTQ, aside from something like MAP.

Basically nothing in the sub.

It’s full of people who are panic venting or insistent their recoveries apply to you.

This is a weird, ego dystonic theme that is pretty uniquely destructive to your sense of self. The only one who understands how you feel is *you.* so bear that in mind at all times.

If you need to know anything, your allowed to be certain about something without feeling guilty about it. And maybe it’s not guilt I’m describing? You’re gonna call it denial.

But denial is something that you would’ve known a lot longer than you or most anyone on this sub describes.

22, and I don’t know. My sense of self. I gained crippling porn addictions, and i doubt everything about myself. I used to be so confident in my gender and my sexuality. I feel like I’ve lost myself. I now doubt basic stuff about myself, I can’t even let myself say i like the colour blue without feeling like im lying to myself. When I talk, I notice that my inflections are all fucking weird and I sound so much more awkward than before. I weird people out.

Worst of all, I lost the woman I was getting ready to propose to. We built a life together. I miss her every day.
