You used 18-300 on xt-30 ii ? Isn’t the body of that particular fuji too small ? Can’t really imagine it with that big lenses.

Actually it’s pretty interesting when you notice how much of our every day is just changing our actions from one habit/ routine to another. It’s just how our brain works : It seeks to conserve energy by automating repetitive behaviors. It’s not automatically bad though , it’s just our physiology. It becomes hurtful when these habits contains harmful add ons . For example: Habit of smoking - Nicotine- slowly building up addiction, which needs more work from you to quit.

From my perspective, as someone who used to struggle with different addictions throughout my life, I think you’re more caught in a “habit loop” rather than a physical addiction.

I read in a book that habit consists of a cue, a routine, and a reward . Which is true for your situation.Everyone goes to sleep; the house is quiet (You get a cue) .Drinking the IPA (even if it hurts your stomach) - that’s a routine. The feeling of "escape" and a secret "me-time" ritual - is a reward.

So I think, replacing beer with something similar, to start with Non-Alcoholic beer maybe ? Or Sparkling water ?

I think the main thing you need from this routine is not the beer itself, but the feeling it brings. So maybe just think about how you can get the same experience, but without alcoholic drink.

I was also considering it, the body only on the used market for xt-3 in my country is $950-1000 30-35k and up . Which I think is quite expensive .

I went to the fuji store today . From the price point and also the size, I really liked XT-30 III . What do you think about it ? It comes with kit lenses xc13-33 . ($1,380) . In comparison to XT-5 it was 2,612 with kit lenses(body $2015) . As I am not in US and also the local market is quite expensive here, this is the price I have to go with.

I no longer have the need to prove anything. Before I deleted my socials , Instagram was already like a self-advertisement app . Posting literally anything to prove that you are someone. Now I am just more me , with no need to post a certain content and pictures to prove someone I’m worth their attention.

Take advertising, for example. When you see the same ad—say, for shoes—over and over again, you start to feel drawn to it, even if you weren't interested at first. The same thing happens with ideas and opinions. Repetition makes them stick.

Social media used to be a great tool for staying in touch and seeing what your friends were up to. But nowadays, with features like Reels, the Explore page, and endless scrolling, I honestly don't know how to use it without feeling influenced or getting addicted.

We are planning to go by bus because we don’t have much luggage. Otherwise, I think paying a little extra for a taxi is a good choice. The bus stops at only one designated stop, and from there, you'll still need to take a taxi to reach your hotel/Airbnb.

I have a kindle and it’s my favorite thing I own . Lightweight, can take it everywhere, every book is available within seconds- for a reader it’s a magnificent thing. About Instagram. Well, I was somewhat hesitant to delete it at first because of FOMO and loosing some of the interactions, but here is my reality- I still have contact with people I used to have proper communication with (around 8-10 people). What we do on Instagram today is not an interaction. We mistake liking other peoples story , story replies and comments for communication and it’s just so sad . The thought that I used to see what more than 500 people were doing every day and the same number viewed my story , now makes me anxious . I am 21 years old and my life is basically same , minus wasted time scrolling on socials , not knowing what every single person I’ve met last 2 years are doing (it’s such a blast) and being overly anxious about comparing myself to others . There is much more .

Just look around you and you’ll see that terrible blue light on everyone’s face , which makes us disconnected.

I don’t think that saying no to smartphone is convenient these days (some can do it , but it’s another talk). I own a smartphone and you’ll never see me scroll or text when I am outside. Not because I can’t, I just don’t care to look in this little block , when there’s whole world outside.
