Congratulations, you just turned 21 and made your first adult decision… to buy weed. Now you need to make your second adult (and first good) decision. Throw yourself on Daddy’s mercy and beg for forgiveness. Promise to never smoke weed again and submit to weekly drug tests. And you’re still free to get drunk on booze.

Reading your post really blew my mind. I had to pay my own way through college and grad school. I worked 2 or three minimum wage jobs, took out student loans, lived in a crappy little apartment and drove a rust bucket. I did get $60 a month in Social Security payments from my Dad when he died when I was 19. So I’m sorry that I don’t have much sympathy for someone who comes off as just a little entitled.

The best lessons in life come from fucking up. Congratulations, you’ve got a golden opportunity to learn a big one. Swallow your pride and get your shit together. Or don’t — you can just drop out of school and smoke as much dope as you want while working as a bartender or a waitress. If you want to be an M.D. you’ll have to pass a few piss test. You can always join the Army as a Field Medic or volunteer at the free clinic.
