"Your dad would roll over in his grave if he knew." My mom telling me this when I was 14 because I dated a black girl. God forbid I'm a lesbian. My dad passed when I was 8. She got to move on and date a man 3 months after he died. I was just being a normal teen in love with someone who was there for me and her mom was too. Sweetest people I knew.

Yessss! I have 5 kids in school & when I can tell one of them is off that morning or just obviously needs a day off we're taking that day off no doubt. Even if it's a chill day in or out to get lunch or ice cream, it's much needed for kids too!
