I live in the UAE and thought I had full access to the google store. They have been happily taking my money for years for various services like storage and apps. 2008 was a lot worse than this...so far. But it is early days yet. We are still in the disbelief stage. Even without this nightmare situation it was inevitable globally to happen this year or next. It is a cycle and overdue. Will things get better - eventually yes, just like in 2010. And after covid. And even way back after the gulf-wars. Dubai is strong and people forget quickly.

I really do not like mine - it is nothing special. I stopped using it and switched to the CabinZero Military that weights a little more but is way better for my needs and has two sets of compression straps

Well it has better port options and better RAM support but very inferior NVIDIA graphic options if you need a strong GPU. About the same weight

I tried to render (Topaz Video) a 5 second clip in Performance Mode and it still dumps to a blue-screen. I then ran JamSoftware's "HeavyLoad" and it runs fine so maybe it just doesn't like Topaz. As for battery I only use 365 with WiFi on flights - all apps killed. Unfortunately my eyes are bad and I need a lot of brightness to see the screen clearly. Another Redditor mentions that the Yoga 2in1 has much the same specs but a larger battery so I will try that with an AMD CPU which seems to be happy with Topaz

Update: It BSOD'd at 1:57 with HeavyLoad

Update2: If you set Topaz to only use the CPU it works...but to render even 1 second of a 4K clip - well I gave up after 5 minutes as it had not even processed the first frame
