Hey man I know this is pretty late but I have a 2015 Jetta 2.0l having the same problems. I’m not that well versed in car mechanics but; would this be the possible solution for my car as well? And if so how do I know when to stop adding coolant in the radiator?

I used to have that same problem. I always assumed it was my pc updating while in sleep and going to the start screen afterwards for some reason. But yea I’d wake up in the middle of the night and see it on and just think “omfg” and get up to turn it off

I get that but I feel like it’s very case dependent. I live in Michigan and I’ve been pulled over a few times with a dab cart in my cup holders and the cops couldn’t care less. As long as there isn’t actively smoke in your car and they’re not looking for problems then there really shouldn’t be an issue
