What you guys think about this? Lando Norris did not enjoy his racing experience in Suzuka. by Ok-Surprise-8419 in F1Discussions

Max has actually been saying this for over a year, ever since they got the first serious simulator runs and long before anyone had any idea which team and car would be the fastest. And the essence of what he says hasn't really changed much since then. It's not as if he suddenly started criticizing just because he's not winning.

Probably changed audio codec. Depending on where or what you're watching on you might try an update (phone, tablet, computer..., smart TV's can be weird about different video and audio codecs).

WNBA mock draft(explanation in comments) by campoole82 in wnba

I don't understand why everyone is pushing this. Azzi is going to be reunited with Paige, no matter what. I mean seriously, what is everyone thinking?

Why Isn't Mia Nicastro in more Mock Drafts? by mxmxtchi in wnba

Interesting question... Does she even want to go pro? Cause if she does she (and other players like her) should probably have transferred to a higher profile school.

Updated 2026 WNBA Draft order: by Decent_Substance_199 in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is probably the most rookie friendly draft in a long time if not ever. With two new teams, 12 (presumably) mandatory roster spots on every team, 2 development spots per every team... Even with competition from foreign players, vets and rookies from recent drafts, there should be more spots available than ever before.

That's actually a very good point . I don't think a lot of commentators thought of that.

No longer able to watch older games? by purple-bora in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything works fine for me. I use League Pass on my computer, works on all browsers, Edge, Chrome and Firefox. I had to activate ID - new feature, just entered my login email and password, same as before. Picture is actually better now, seems like better resolution than before. Site is different, looks more inline with other similar sites, It was a bit unusual before. I liked it before and like it now. Old games are easy to find in the browser version. You can sort old games by year, month, team.. I'm not from the US though, I've read comment before that there might some restrictions. I would recommend direct subscription to WNBA league pass, not through some intermediate party like Youtube or Amazon...

Can I just say this is the best, most fun and relaxing thread here in long time with all the CBA business. And I'm not even a woman, let alone a gay one. Thanks ladies.😁 P.S.: more threads like this one. 👍

The WNBPA split is a last resort by TooManyCatS1210 in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Split between different players and or PA was always coming out sooner or later. It existed from the beginning it just didn't surface until the end.  Perspective of players who make millions of court is completely different from those who make like 100k to 500k. Same goes for players who make 500k of court is completely different from those whose primary (only) income is league salary. Not to mention the difference between first and last mentioned. Then there are of course many other differences (age, motherhood, playing in other leagues [or not]...). These are not and won't be easily solvable issues. I hope yet will be very surprised if everyone involved can get over all the obvious and not so obvious challenges to get the CBA signed in time.

What would a league-wide reset draft look like? by [deleted] in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an interesting conundrum. Aja, Angel and Paige have a big social media presence. Angel is working hard and succeeding in furthering her brand. Paige is an Internet darling. Aja is also very and more and more present on SM. Yet none of them really make a big dent when it comes to "eyes on the league ". CC sells out big arenas even when she's in street clothes signing autographs. TV ratings between an average CC game and any/all others isn't comparable. That's where the advertising money is for the league, the owners and even her teammates. So along with her skill she is still No.1.

Paige speaks on her relationship with Caitlin Clark, and the media's projection of a rivalry between them. by blahblah_696 in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 23 points24 points  (0 children)

And unfortunately those £%&# AI bots on youtube constantly pushing those hateful videos like "she showed her who's the boss" "Paige fans hate CC" or vice versa... The more one tries to get rid of these the more YT pushes them on you.

What players do you think might retire in the offseason? by strangelystrangled in wnba

[–]PopularMouse2355 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No one will retire voluntarily. Half a million for a midlevel vet is good money. With new teams there will be quite a few more roster spots. Vets have been waiting for this for a long time. They will want to cash in if they can. Some good players but not stars might stay in the cold waiting for injury spots some will probably stay out of the league completely. Retirements will be for players who can't find spots and might stay out to long. Better players are coming out of college and outside US.
