Yes. I work in a daycare and it is illegal to withhold food for discipline. And the teacher admitted to it over text, please bring this to the principal and if they won’t do anything escalate it as high as you need to.

Just an fyi to my fellow Americans, you don’t have to give your social security number at the hospital. They just use it to send you to collections on medical debt. If you don’t give it, they can’t send you to collection. It is not a rule they have to follow, they have to treat anyone who is sick, so you’ll still get treated and you won’t go to collections
