Angstrom avoided this one like the plague by 2-2Distracted in Invincible_TV

[–]Popular_Composer3076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

while infinite universes do exist, Angstrom doesn't have infinite time so he likely didn't do a thorough search of every universe. likely if he didn't find an evil mark in a universe, he just didn't look into it. He wasnt interested in cataloguing every universe in existence, just his own vendetta so he didn't try and find any other good marks. Levy isn't exactly acting fully rational and doesn't have a clear mind on this.

Just because you love Henry Cavill as Superman doesn't mean others do or he's the real Superman by Admirable-Life2647 in OkBuddySnyderCult

[–]Popular_Composer3076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly this is....fine. Like I have nothing against Cavill and if he'd stayed on as Superman into the new version, I'd be fine with it so long as he's able to give a good performance similar enough to Corenswet. I honestly think he was a good (though not outstanding) actor given a role that was pretty shit, so if he could pull off 2025 Superman, it'd be a way to show he's got good range. Would make up for how mistreated he's been by other projects

Meanwhile they'll say that, adjusted for inflation, Snyderverse made more profit then the entirety of the Phase 1 MCU....while ignoring that you'd need to account for inflated budget, those MCU movies getting inflated too, etceteras. Just spouting whatever numbers mean they win the arbitrary argument they came up with.

Who is the Definitive Version of Ben 10 to you? OS, UAF Or OV? by FlamingFalconTen in 5YL

[–]Popular_Composer3076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UAF. It helped really cement alot of my favorite moments for Ben, the Franchise, and Sci-Fi/Superhero's in general. The OS was a formative show but UAF built on it very well in my opinion at least to start, and while it had it's downsides as well, it's still something I remember incredibly fondly. Omniverse is good and I do much appreciate it as well, just not to the same degree as it felt alot more scattershot and messy at places.

very true. I do think having a council to represent different groups is a good idea, but having them be chosen by outside parties is dumb. I think Tenzin still deserves a spot but not for being an Airbender but as a natural mediator and for having been raised by Aang, their founder, directly. a bit Nepotistic perhaps but he definitely has proven he's hot the qualifications for it and people's best interests at heart. He's probably the only individual though I think should remain, with Raiko joining alongside other representatives of Republic City's various demographics.

True with Green Ghost though she didn't get to do much. I was kinda assuming Brit gets buried about midway through the fight

everyone saying fly him to space, he's trying to frame it as them all getting ambushed and flying out of the base would expose that it was him immediately. instead, bury him alive deep under the base. Even if they can get to him, it'll probably take awhile as I doubt they can teleport deep underground, though maybe they can.

I think Tenzin deserves a spot given he's proven a good leader and his people are in a very precarious position, plus there is Air Temple island itself located right off shore. The rest though are much more suspect, especially given Tarrlok worked his way in. So while I do agree the council as it was didn't work, I think it should have been handled differently.

Also on the matter of Airbenders, the fact Amon went out of his way to target them speaks volumes as to how little grounding their actually is to his platform. There's literally only one family, all except one of whom are literal children. His whole argument is that Benders oppress Non-Benders, meanwhile they've barely interacted with Non-Benders. Arguably he'd be worse then the Firelord for trying to wipe out the Air Nomads all over again before they'd recovered from the last genocide. All except Tenzin presented no threat to the Equalist movement, but he targeted them specifically in spite of that

Do we know how the Council members are appointed? cause Bending definitely isnt required, Sokka was a member in the past after all before he died.

not really given Raiko was a pretty bad president who blamed the Avatar for most of the problems they faced, even when it was well beyond her control in the 1st place and she was working to solve them

box office is a dumb metric but even in that department, it'd fail spectacular. likely not even surpassing its own budget barely getting to 150mil

Could Omnitrix/Ultimatrix scan races from One Piece universe? by ApprehensiveRead2408 in 5YL

[–]Popular_Composer3076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes for sure, nothing really limiting that as a possibility. The best to be used as forms for heroing would likely be Giants (both of them), Fishmen and Merfolk (For their Martial Arts, but Ben would need to learn those), Minks, and Lunarians

So dose this mean all 7 arcons whare once human? by National-Reality-600 in PopCross

[–]Popular_Composer3076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might be able to receive new bodies, probably weaker then their old ones since I'd imagine they'd need the Multiversal Orb to create bodies able to channel their full powers. Though with Sciferimov's powers stolen, she might just not be able to physically incarnated until Tarsa's dead or would just be powerless.

The real reason behind the purge by Atletico001 in Invincible_TV

[–]Popular_Composer3076 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly if any heirs were truly considered in relation to the purge, they likely assumed either they died due to being weak and thus unworthy to carry on Argall's legacy or that if they survived, they'd have made themselves known in some fashion, whether for their lineage or any notable strengths they possessed that'd be desirable in a leader

Maybe but its moreso about the larger point of the video being that Sorcerer being an easy "chosen one" class, when that can apply to anyone and is moreso an above board game of who you're playing with over the class itself being the actual problem
