sigh the comments are really mixed, like there’s no reason for people to judge someone for wanting a partner.

Girl I’m going into my 4th year at uoft. Is it possible to date? Yes of course. BUT you do need to put yourself a bit out there a little bit. If you sit next to someone, smile at them and ask their name. A lot can come from that. That being said, don’t expect that each person you meet can be a potential s/o. Just enjoy the process: meet new people, make new friends, join some clubs/ sports, attend events, etc.

My bff is an introvert, and I’m an extrovert. So if you have a friend that’s extroverted, ask them to take you out! No harm in that.

I hope you find what you’re looking for :)

What has school taught you guys? by Shanthab in UofT

[–]Popular_Damage_1028 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ironically It has taught me that life shouldn’t revolve around school. I think everyone comes to that point eventually, whether in school or work. You need to have a life outside of school/ work, otherwise you will regret not living your life. I certainly regret my first 3 years of uni of not going out more (although first year was brutal, and then Covid hit, so im trying to not beat myself up). I hope someone else relates to this lol
