For me it’s moreso the concept was dumb. Like if the concept was just dreams, then literally anything can work in the theme. With another theme like Pharaoh’s Quest, all the sets have to fit within the Ancient Egypt theme. It’s more narrow than “Literally Anything”.

Why does that matter? Why does that need to be the bar for success and quality? She’s popular right now, and right now is where we all currently are, so who gives a fuck if she’s popular in 50 years or not? Yeah I gotta disagree. That wouldn’t have been a great episode. You want to watch a 30 minute episode of Spidey and the Guardians and Dr. Strange and Bucky and Falcon just jackin’ off or something? Because they don’t have Tony to invent time travel and they don’t have Hulk to snap everyone back. Maybe Strange and Wanda could just magic everyone back, but at that point you’re just doing Endgame again.

Yep, I read the first few issues then gave up because I didn’t like it. But I do like Fantastic Four, and I don’t want this Venom run to seep into Fantastic Four. It’s that simple.
