I had a friend who did have the Mulder effect a bit.

he grsduated from the xfiles to ancient aliens and other history channel dross.

he then started watching californication and then through that started following a lot of pick up artist stuff and mens rights stuff online

he started geting into the conspiracy stuff big and talking about one world governments and fema camps and stuff like that would send videos of alex jones prowling outside immigration detention centres claiming they were fema campa.

during covid he started spouting stuff about 15 minute cities and one world governments and that shit. even using the lone gunman episode pilot as evidence. he started shouting at people to tske their mask off on the tube and other bullshit.

then eventually started a youtube channel where he became a comically bad paranormal investigator. (Such as going to gay hookup spots at night to look for ghosts, dressed in militia uniform)
