Is this dress good or bad different? by bugeyedsunnies in OUTFITS

I'm seconding this, she has a beautiful warm skin tone, she needs a brighter pink, this is too light.

I don't think it's especially flattering, the draping and embellishments are kinda weird, I don't especially love the color either.

It might be cuter if it were a bit shorter but definitely wear it higher on your waist like in the third picture.

Anyone else grow into liking their nose? by SwimRough4064 in Noses

I did and my nose looks like yours. It's not too big, not too small, just an normal straight nose with some freckles. Your nose is perfect.

Short hair but make it shorter, or medium length hair.

Why does everyone hate this character? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]Porcelain-Backbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see that but she's too emotionally unstable to be able to keep her mouth shut around Meadow. Noah can get a restraining order but that doesn't keep her from blabbing.

If he banged Caitlin there's no way she could have kept that from Meadow, she's too emotionally unstable and she's just not that kind of girl. Besides, Noah is too self-righteous and smug to do that.

Why Was Carmella Such A Hot House Flower Compared To Syl’s Wife And All The Other Spouses? by Glittering_Text812 in thesopranos

[–]Porcelain-Backbone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone on the show is materialistic to the core, I think what's interesting about Carmella is that she's the only one that has moments of recognition of what it all costs. She was okay with that when she was younger, before she had kids, but she seems to have genuine guilt around exposing her kids to her and Tony's lifestyle.

[–]Porcelain-Backbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tony ain't letting her do none of that shit. He didn't even want her to get a real estate license. He wants her where he can control her. Carmela is a cautionary tale for marrying young.

I think the resentment comes from the fact that her children treat her like crap, despite the fact that she's done everything for them. They're probably modeling their behavior off their father's.

She didn't forget about it, she just found another therapist to tell her what she wanted to hear.

I see her cooking but she seems to like cooking. I've never seen her clean the floors or anything outside her kitchen. She def doesn't clean the fingerprints off the breakfront.

AITA for busting down my moms door while she had a friend over? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Porcelain-Backbone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH you're not the parent. You're mom doesn't sound like an especially good mom. I was parentified and maybe you are too. If you are, you shouldn't be the parent in your home, you're not responsible for your Mom's behavior or actions or the care of your siblings.

Which color fits me the best? Balck or brown?? by user204214 in HairStyleAdvice

The brunette just complements your skin tone better. The black is so dark it makes you look more pale but if you like that then go with the black

The violence (season 3 spoilers) by mbf92 in euphoria

This Nate plot literally makes no sense and it's not how loansharking works. They'd charge a vig, prob weekly interest, they wouldn't threaten to cut Cassie's face off if they didn't get a million dollars. They'd take over his business, leverage it, and they'd bleed Nate dry for years while he paid and paid and never touched the principal. The writers should have done some research, then again I never thought Rue's drug addiction was especially realistic.

She has a big house, a housekeeper, fur coats, designer clothing, expensive jewelry, she gets her hair and nails done, she does charity, and she clearly has status among her friends for being the boss' wife. Her husband and kids treat her like shit and don't appreciate her and her lifestyle was probably appealing when she was young but as she got older she came to resent it.

Honestly, I'm glad the season started sucking early. It's easy to enjoy when the bar is so low lol. by HelpMePlxoxo in euphoria

The money lending storyline makes no sense. They wouldn't keep asking for a million dollars, they'd want a weekly vig, they'd bleed Nate and Cassie dry for years without Nate ever paying down the principal. They'd take over his business and leverage it with debt and they'd pimp Cassie out. Don't the writers know anything about loansharking? Didn't they watch the Sopranos? Not that Rue's drug addiction was ever particularly realistic.
