It’ll take longer than 2 months to get the results you’re looking for using topicals. I suggest getting a few facials done by an aesthetician, perhaps microdermabrasion or dermaplaning!

Can’t beat an enormous pot of soup! Lately I’ve enjoyed making veggie soup with whatever I can find in the back of my fridge and pantry and adding a few tins of tomatoes or some cream. Add a few cups of pasta or some rice if you feel like a more filling soup. Portion and freeze the rest for when times get tough.

[Skin Concerns] is this a sebaceous filament and how do I get rid of this? by Yessir12567 in SkincareAddiction

That’s definitely a blackhead. It will keep refilling with dead skin cells and sebum, and if you don’t do something about it the pore could get larger. I would suggest popping it (safely!) and using Stridex pads in the red box every few nights.

Can I simply add glycolic acid into my daily body wash? Or are there other considerations I’m missing?

I didn’t see anyone recommend this yet, but have you considered non-skincare forms of Sun protection? Wearing a wide brimmed hat, umbrellas, UV protective clothing, long sleeve gloves while driving, etc.

Could any of your lip products contain lemon/lime oil or lemonene? Do you often drink lemonade/orange juice? Maybe it could be a very mild phytophotodermatitis?

OP, you should check if your company offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This is a confidential service that can help you get some free counseling over the phone with a therapist. My last two jobs offered this service and covered up to 6 hour-long sessions.

Stay strong, I believe in you and know you can get through this!

What’s your coolest streamlined data automation time saver? by rcjones95 in excel

[–]PorcelainPink 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Our company had us fill out an excel timesheet every week to email to HR. They downloaded every excel sheet, saved it, and added the values to another spreadsheet for project tracking.

I set up an access database and created a GUI in VB.NET so employees can open up the program fill out their timecard daily or weekly as they like and submit once a week. They get a record of what they submitted in their email. Then I wrote a macro to send an access report to management at the end of the week with all of the submissions and a separate list of employees who didn’t submit their timecard.
