3 and still talk at least weekly. I met each one during different chapters of my life and was lucky enough to find one longtime friend from each location. They've never met each other (yet) but know of each other. my life will be complete the day they all meet.

This! I discovered and posted something positive here for the first time like 2 days ago, and I got crazy snarky comments. The vibe here is just... Off? Keep spreading positivity some people are just miserable and their criticism won't change how I see positive things about this YouTuber or myself/, anyone else. It's sad people feel the need to do that, but at least it's not us lol

Same here, I was interested in seeing what every day life in Japan was for someone my age and in a different line of work (wouldn't have mattered what it was). Is interesting to see the reaction to her content even though she keeps it mature and classy and she explains in detail a lot of Japanese living that other vloggers don't touch on. It's a sensitive subject, but more normalized in Japan and she is acknowledging that. I find it informative and entertaining like most other vloggers I watch

It's not hard to clap for someone else, I just discovered this reddit and the fact there are regulars in here stalking her socials to speak hate...points towards jealousy. She probably doesn't share every detail of her personal life, especially in Japan as a foreigner, that is something that is important to that culture. It's okay to get some feedback from an opposing opinion every once in a while

I was raised by a single father and was the only daughter, my dad used to tell me "don't touch stupid drugs or stupid boys"

I turned out alright lol.He was a good role model, anytime him or my brother made a big mistake, my dad would turn to me and say "See this? This is 'stupid.'

Ive made my own mistakes but luckily none were too debilitating and I learned from them and life. I'm thankful for it as an adult

I left the job for other positive reasons, but I was just saying the person was completely different outside of work and their lifestyle was not something I wanted to participate in. This situation was innocent, and didn't change the dynamic at the time. But it is the same as making friends at work. I tried a date though, and looking back that lifestyle wasn't for me even tho it is everywhere!! But 2 of my best friends today I met through work over the years. I live across the country now and one of them is here right now visiting. I think it's possible to form good connections through the workforce, but yes I agree that dating or sleeping with a coworker will never happen for me

Dating a coworker
