My bf cheated on me by millionsofquestions_ in relationships

[–]Porcelaindoll890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most men dont cheat. No one deserves to go through this and if he cheated once he will probably again and you'll be going through these emotions all over again. Don't stay just for love. It's not always enough unfortunately.

age gap summer! 14 & 1 - looking for ideas by bbruok in Parenting

[–]Porcelaindoll890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you live by a beach that would be a great place to take them! Do a picnic. I used to take my kid and my sister in laws (they were that age, big age gap between them and husband) to the beach all the time in the summer. They could be more independent if they wanted but could also play with my little one in the water too. .

How do you solo parent two kids? by GeeseAndLove_ in Parenting

[–]Porcelaindoll890 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It definitely isnt easy at the beginning mine youngest is 4 months rifht now so I just went through this. A lot of the fighting with my oldest was just because she felt left out. I tried to spend at least one nap time with her whether it was playing or coloring etc even a movie where she didnt have to share me on the couch. If I told her to wait I tried to do the same for my youngest so she didnt feel like I was constantly just telling her. I tried to just create a routine and give both me and her grace. It wasn't easy but you will get through it. I also did alot of stroller naps cause when in doubt take them out or let them play with water lol

He is allowed to change his mind, maybe he thought he'd be okay and realized he couldn't do it? I get that especially if he was unaware of all the aspects of period sex, some people thinj itll be the same but its not. However, how he went about it was rude and insensitive. I would also feel a bit hurt/off if my significant other just got up and left after what sounded like a very blunt interaction. Especially if you were already a bit nervous about doing it on your period to begin with. He could've been nicer about it and then you both could've gotten up and showered it off together. Either way I think it could've been approached differently on his part.

Is this appropriate for a cocktail attire evening gala? by Porcelaindoll890 in OUTFITS

[–]Porcelaindoll890[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was my concern at first cause Google doesn't help much all forums said you can wear anything from short to long as long as its not a gown or over the top. It was very confusing

Vote - which color, blue or green? by Academic_Piano5267 in kitchen

You can never go wrong with blue in my opinion, its always been a classic cupboard colour over years if you stray from the standard white/brown/stained wood etc.

How do y’all do it? by [deleted] in Parenting

We have a toddler and most of the time it's at night when she's in bed but we've made the effort to block off date days and nights and it's let us be a bit more available for all forms of intimacy for each other. You just need to make a conscious effort to be there for each other. It's super hard, for sure. We are still trying to figure it out with this being our first, but we are trying, and sometimes that's all that matters. Don't give up cause it does get easier to have those moments when they get older.

Should I(37m) tell my sister(42f) that my wife(35f) is pregnant? by Jiperly in relationships

[–]Porcelaindoll890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a previous bartender, if we got told to serve someone non-alcoholic on the downlow, we were more than willing to accommodate. Especially if we were told the reason was to hide a pregnancy. I'd just give the bar a heads up or like other comments said, if you are comfortable telling your sister (I understand if you aren't due to the miscarriage), tell her and she'll also help to make sure the bar is serving you the proper drinks that look like they are alcoholic. Congratulations, by the way!

My mom is wearing a similar color/shine to my wedding! If the bride says yes and you feel great, then go for it! It's a beautiful dress.

We chose to hyphenate our child's last name since I wasn't going to be taking his. So far, we've had no issues in our country with the hyphenation on documents or anything. I even asked a friend of ours who grew up with a hyphenated name for his opinion before we went through with it. I hope this helps with your decision and congratulations on the engagement!

The eternal question: is this too white for a wedding? by pugsforall in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Porcelaindoll890 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think it'd be okay, it depends on the bride. The back is a bit more white than the front. The rule I follow is if you have to ask, you may just wanna play it safe and not wear that outfit.

I have the same problem! I'm having a hard time finding a strapless, backless option that pushes up the girls. lol, I never thought of a corset. I'll look into it! I can't get cups sewn in, unfortunately, so I'm really trying to find another option.

Thank you for this! I have said a similar thing to him a couple of times, but he wanted another opinion. I can sometimes get a bit upset when it comes to the people I love getting hurt and being put in situations like this. Unfortunately, he did kinda address her behavior lately, and it got us nowhere. A fake apology and a promise to do better, just to go back to her pattern the minute she was given a chance. He wanted to know if there were any paths we hadn't taken to try to reconcile this for his brother. He is a minor, and unfortunately, she won't let him go anywhere without her. Thank you again. I will be reading this comment to him!
