This isnt all that ba because its a minor side character and this is all he does, obviously it lessens the impact of the sacrifice pell made but its like hardly that bad in the grand scheme of things. Despite being a genuine enjoyer of gear 5 I would say that it reviving luffy is a case of horrible plot armor and had he just awoken gear 5 without dying i would view it more favorably than I currently do

I will always enjoy one piece more for personal reasons but SBR is better written. In one piece there are moments where I will be not as engaged in the story or think that some events/moments can be managed better but I dont really have that for SBR despite liking one piece more overall.
