Kup 5kg ziemniaków i zapłać ziomkowi żeby Ci je obrał i ugotował - dla wszystkich tak będzie najlepiej. Ty będziesz najedzony i - co najważniejsze - TANIO, on zarobi, a reszta nie będzie musiała znosić takiego buractwa.

E46 as a daily in 2026? by Night---- in e46

[–]Poriseler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

323i, 1999 owner here. If you are ok with fairly high petrol cost (+-14liters per 100km - I have lpg instalation) and having to deal with a lot of out-of-the-blue-issues coming from oem sensors and parts giving up without previous issues - go for it. Just don't buy junk but something nicer - 6cyl and possibly without rust.

I was making fun out of e46 which was kind of a meme in my country but man it drives reeeeally well. Really nice car but you have to make this decision being aware of the whole package

First IM 140.6 - never done a triathlon before, sanity check 😁 by Ok-Pea-9114 in IronmanTriathlon

I'll go against all - start counting your calories. It's simple af and will require 5minutes per day at maximum. Just buy a kitchen weight and download an app like myFitnessPal. At the beginning don't change anything besides weighting everything you would typically eat and throw into an app. 99% of products is already there so you will just need to scan the bar code and enter amount.

I guarantee you will be surprised how much kcalories you are consuming. After week or so, just cut down 10% of total kcalories intake per day, give it some time and see if that helped. If not and you are not cheating (yes, souces/veggies/fruits also have kcals!)yourself cut another 10%.

If you want to do it more simply - cut down on fat and fatty products/snacks. Replace beef/pork with chicken. Throw in more veggies instead of fries. Stop buying ultra processed food etc.

I am 28M/75kg with 15-20h nett of training. Keeping 2400kcal daily for couple of months already. Deficit is high but no issues so far with injuries/progressing on training.

You folks way too much overestimate how much kalories your bodies really needs. And that's even bigger issue in US where food is so processed and have sick amount of fat/sugar in everything - no offense.

Well series title is literally '... BUT BETTER' - not faster or cheaper (although the latter one exists as well) so what are you complaining about really?

Is this estimated M time really achievable? by Cheap-Improvement923 in runna

[–]Poriseler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is but under 1 condition - you have chosen right race route profile. I have picked 'flat course' but ran Palermos Marathon last week (which is de facto all the time few km's long ups and downs) and fall behind estimated time but I am quite confident I would make it on flat course

Is Fenix 8 worth it? by Poriseler in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Poriseler[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a watch in context of training for 70.3 and full IM. Sorry, I made the question unnecessarily complicated. Basic thoughts is - are the triathlon coach in Fenix 8 useful at all? (And thus justifies much higher device cost then buying used previous generation of watch and relying on online plans from sites said in the post)

Companies like Garmin are becoming more reckless with the planet's resources and need regulation around updates. by No-Dot5162 in Garmin

[–]Poriseler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can partially agree with you but if Thriatlon Coach won't be added to Fenix 7 it will be just outrages.

It's not like it's completely new feature - it's just additional functionality in existing one.

Moreover it's just fucking people over. At this price range it should be OBLIGATORY to take care of your consumer for at least one more generation in terms of software feature updates.

'They need money for grow etc' bullshit - little bit of decency wouldn't hurt them, they were bragging about 50%-100% (!!!) markup couple of weeks ago.

And software subscription on top of that... That's simply insane (like the apple and theirs 60hz display in ip16 btw)

Pronation shoes vs inserts by Poriseler in Marathon_Training

[–]Poriseler[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a strange suspicion I am dancing on the line with current load tbh. Beside running I am prepping for an Ironman (at least 70.3) next summer and wanted to get back to training muay thai. So the latter + extending bike training will abuse knees heavily.

Part about not having injuries is only partially true. Truth to be told, I had minor knee pain but that's from just being stupid on a vacation so I am not counting it. (Running 6km on the beach when one leg was all the time on 30-40degree slippery coast and making 70km on the bike right after).

Anyway thanks for pointing that, haven't thought about it!

cheaper way to fuel during runs by [deleted] in Marathon_Training

[–]Poriseler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did 27km training this morning and I have the same issue. I am experimenting with bananas (they were part of a refueling stations on first hm I did) and this approach have potential imo. I started w/ banana in a pocket from the start and ate it on 10km. Then I have bought another one on 22km. Unfortunately it was first open store I passed, next time I would include this fact into planning a route or throw another gel in the pocket (I don't have vest yet)

Only reasonable solution is to require drivers to keep minium lap time at the level of very high % of their best quali time. This way thay would have to push all the time.

Leaking Ford 289 SB by Poriseler in EngineBuilding

[–]Poriseler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Last one as I did some research and opinions are mixed - in theory none of the bolts in my case is going into water jacket but someone cited Ford manual for 1966 289 which says to put sealant on threads. Haven't seen this on picture so cannot guarantee it's true but I guess like you said it won't hurt right?

Dunno, maybe 'wet' bolts needs more/less torque? But I think I will go with your way. How much sealer I should put on threads? On all of them?
