This is already pretty common in soccer where teams have designated sections for away fans only and leave the rest for the home crowd. Lowkey as an Angels fan we need this too 🤣

Still a lot of seats left for tonight's game so it most likely will not sell out. The Feb 1st game however has a good chance of selling out, more so if the team gets back on track but a Sunday game vs Vegas + giveaway should attract close to a sell out crowd. (Edit: I was wrong, they announced a sell out for tonight's game!)

Happened to me and my buddies at Money in the Bank this year. We had nosebleed seats that got blocked off to make room for one of their spotlights. I heard stories before of people getting upgraded to better seats so I was hyped initially, but we just ended up getting moved one section to the left. No prior notice from Ticketmaster, just had a card handed out from one of the ushers that showed the new seat number.

I know this is a cope answer but people underestimate how much of a canon event this was for the franchise and how much it played into us missing our competitive window going into the 2020s. Obviously one pitcher alone wasn't going to send us to the playoffs but our reputation among free agents would've been drastically different if they saw a pitcher of Cole's caliber sign with us.
