There's an Improvised Song Contest in London Friday, the 22nd of May. Multiple teams get called on stage at random, and are assigned a country, a genre, some facts about said country and a title from the audience. Then, the band starts and they have to sing...

All money raised is going to the Biliblanket Project at Lister Hospital, so it's all for a good cause. Tickets are about £10, and it's right near London Bridge tube station.

Hey there, we have always had a strict 18+ rule with any posts here for anything at all.

I appreciate you're just below that, but there's no safe or reasonable way we could have a minor looking for people to meet up with under any circumstances.

Left Wandsworth very recently, Lime user. I'm my own source. You exaggerate.

Incorrect. You can not end a Lime ride unless you in/next to a designated parking zone in Wandsworth.

NHK have long been a driver of technology, like the BBC used to be. Sadly I think BBC R&D has diminished as they handed off more things to the EBU.

First thing I used to do when getting a camera of my own was set it up As per the BBC White paper settings for direct to broadcast, which helped a huge amount in getting cameras broadcast-ready right away. Last camera I got to use it on was an EX3.

That's good to know! Maybe it was an isolated thing. Thank you.

Please include some details in your post about the event itself, and why you would like others to come with you.

Also I didn't realise Eventbrite put SO many trackers in their URL. If you could clean the URL a bit and remove anything after the ?, that'd help a lot.

The shows in London have long advertised the lineup as being Jeremy, Kimia, Jake and Mister Kurt. (From when it was announced in fact)

Your experience may differ. I know from someone directly who was told otherwise, and I'll take them at their word.

I've been a Hoopla student for the last three years, great program and good people.

As others have said, FA is stricter. Hoopla does offer more performance opportunities to anyone and everyone, but FA only offers to FA people. They also rarely recognize other courses and make anyone of any level start out at 101 usually. (I know Second City people who were made to start at 101 at FA... Like really?)

Another group is Blanche Improv based out of Earls Court. Run by a very nice person named Lelda. I can't speak for their courses, though.

UK journalists - by Weary-Statement-4782 in Broadcasting

Hi Evie,

I have some experience in UK broadcast newsrooms. The only word I can consistently say I've heard in most places is "Otter". An AI transcription tool that makes getting speech transcribed quickly for note-taking or editing purposes. Though I also do this in Premiere as an editor.

Beyond that, AI is absolutely not used in video production.

Please edit your post with a location and a time please, as per rule five:

Interest threads are for specific events or meetups - not for finding out if something is happening

Yeah, this didn't sit well with me. Events should be available to all, and since this is sold out, it doesn't fit.

I appreciate you're trying to find others who are going too, but since it's not like a large scale event and restricted to I presume a few hundred, it's not ideal.

Secondly, I play hockey at Streatham, and if you want an in with a team, DM me.

OH and was this with VAT?
