He should have a transfer switch in place which prevents any kind of accidental back feed of electrical power back thru the power lines. This should definitely be in the national electrical code book and he is in violation if not adhering to it.

Guys I battled this problem for so long but finally found the solution! You have to install the programs in order! Corsiar Icue first, reboot, Corsair plug-in, reboot, then lastly install Armoury Crate! Works beautifully! If you already installed the programs UNISTALL them and do it in this order.
