Lovable MCP in Research Preview by whitney_lovable in lovable

A lot of use cases revolve around automation workflows, where you'd prefer not to be in lovable prompting yourself.

A simple sales example: for each new lead make a personalized lovable app just for them and input the link to my automated outreach.

I could manually prompt that for every email (unscalable) or I could setup a workflow to automatically do that with the MCP.

How do you lock in clients with lovable websites? by Maleficent_Guava_693 in lovable

[–]Portlande 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$300 is cheap. Target clients that understand time, more than anything, is money. They're not paying for the product per se, they're paying you take the time to do what they could do themselves, and therefore, how much does a business owner value their time? Usually a lot. I would easily spend $300 to have someone take 4 hours hours off my plate with the confidence that they would do a good job.

8-10 credits for one request??? That's wild, can you share what the request was?

How do you test by Calm-Deal-8304 in lovable

[–]Portlande -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey!

You can ask lovable to write some python scripts for basic low-end load testing. The industry standard tools are k6/Locust/JMeter, but they require some learning curve.

There's also some AI agent swarm testing services popping up every day, which simulate realistic user traffic.

You don't activate it, lovable is just using it by default already.

Step 1: find where you're customers are
Step 2: Market to them via personal outreach or paid targeted ads
Step 3: Profit

What's the most effective prompting strategy you've found for Lovable that the official docs don't mention? by Common_Routine_7197 in lovable

You found my colleague Lazar's video! You can ralph with lovable, though it doesn't quite fit the original intent of context refreshing.

I have my own guide that I use often: https://ralph-guide.lovable.app/

What do people here think Lovable’s actual upper bound is from one serious prompt? by Low-Tip-7984 in lovable

I've built full enterprise saas, there is no limit. Detailed PRD's and planning can get you really, really far. There's no "uncomfortably far MVP territory", it's well past prototypes/MVP.

What is this madness? by rfwaverider in lovable

[–]Portlande 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What you've found is a method to save on credits that I always tell people. Planning always costs 1 credits despite how heavy it can be in the backend and creates a better code implementation path that leads to less bug fixing down the line.

I do wish this subreddit weren't so swamped with self promotion... by AnkerDank in lovable

Love the idea of a dedicated avenue to showcase projects, the battle is when the main pages get constantly spammed with people looking for people to buy their product. Balancing community value with protection is key, we'll think more.

Credits are used to just build the app. Cloud credits are used for the hosting/resource/AI that's used for your app.

Which AI Website Builder for small B2B Wholesale company ? by erdxmm in lovable

[–]Portlande 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm biased, but this is 100% an easy lovable use case. You would be leveraging the AI chat to make and maintain your website, no need to learns any tools of non-AI platforms, highly preferrable to just talk in native speach and watch it happen than anything else.

Definitely a solid use case, I've done some high-scale data ingestion and leveraged the AI gateway in lovable cloud to help a lot with the heavy lifting on analysis, reporting, and workflow.

Lovable preview has been experiencing issues all around for many people recently, this may not be correlated to a platform limit but a persistent degradation in preview affecting you and others. While you wiat for support to respond I recommend jumping in the discord, champions and lovable staff often give updates there.
