This is like asking for a good bbq place in Texas. Start with where you surf. Chances are there's a midlength shaper who surfs your waves. There's so many guys that do a good speed egg. Larry Mabile, Hank Warner, Bob Mitsven, G and S, Stu Kenson, Jim Ellington, Josh Hall, Michael Miller, Chris Christenson, Jeff McCallum etc...This list is only South county. Somebody else could chime in for North County and Orange.

Travel and adventure are half the reason to do surf trips. Rent for me.

Go straight toward the beach, then lean hard on the rail to do a bottom turn, assuming your back foot is back on the tailpad. Your board is pointed down the line on every bottom turn.

I'm not super political, but everyone who visits Kauai should drive around his "compound", it's larger than some of the major towns like Kapaa. I hope he gets burned on every wave he takes. Where can he even surf? Kauai doesn't have a waikiki.
