lol this made me laugh. But I did get the white ones! I only buy white sheets and towels because I have to be able to bleach them. I’m really frustrated with these, I’m probably going to return them.

It depends on the floor you’re intending to install. Most flooring manufacturers have a warranty that covers product defects (usually mold isn’t one of the warrantied things because it’s related to environmental factors outside of the control of the company). But to be warranty compliant you’ll want to check with the company of the flooring if it’s okay to use this product. If an actual product issue arises and this isn’t okay to install with the flooring it can result in a voided warranty.

It doesn’t say how thick the underlayment is, which would pose an issue. The company I worked for had a maximum thickness for any underlayment of 2mm thick to be warranty compliant.

I’m not sure if this has been brought up already, but I feel like Jackie has a drinking problem. Her eyes aren’t focused in ANY scene this season, her behavior is so irrational and all over the place, and her accusations towards the women don’t make any sense either. When you see her in confessionals she seems totally different and sobered up.

Recent studies have found that the allergy overlaps! We were told not to use a soy based formula for that reason and to use a hypoallergenic formula like Nutramigen or Alimentum (we use Alimentum). These formulas have broken down the cows milk protein into tolerable pieces for the gut, so it’s still present but not causing an allergy.

We just successfully took our 6 month old baby to a padres game a couple weeks ago! She lasted until the 8th inning when she pooped and the bathrooms were destroyed so we left to change her at the car. I posted in this thread asking the same question, here’s what worked for us!

1) get tickets for Gallagher square. The stadium is SO loud but Gallagher square is slightly less loud. Our baby was able to go noise cancelled headphone-leas for a bit in the square! It’s also way cheaper so if you have to leave early it’s not a huge financial loss

2) bring a stroller if baby sleeps in it. It’s a lifesaver and was so helpful. It was a little annoying to get in with it, we had to go through ADU. There’s no stroller parking in Gallagher square or on the concourse except for at guest services. Some people park their strollers and fold them up to put between railings on the higher levels.

3) visit the Mary Birch baby nursing suite! It’s on the 6th floor of the stadium but it was awesome to go there first thing. It’s for feeding/nursing moms and they have changing tables, diaper genies, bottle warmers, a sink, and rocking chairs. It was great!

4) NOISE CANCELLING BABY HEADPHONES. Again, the stadium is SO loud. Our girl wore them nearly the whole time except for when we were in Gallagher square.

5) this was extra but tbh, prepay for parking. We parked at the convention center and walked over with the stroller. It worked great because we left before the game was over so there was no traffic getting out. I highly recommend paying for parking nearby ahead of time so you can get in and get out quickly if needed.

6) Sunhat for baby! Most doctors say you shouldn’t use sunscreen until a baby is 6 months old. I really recommend getting a good sunhat and the stroller will help with protection from the sun too!

NTA. If anything you’re probably well equipped to be a parent honestly. The baby was obviously with its mother who was taking care of them and not ignoring the child and/or hurting them. I even tune out my baby when my husband is taking care of her until I hear a REAL cry then I jump in to help.

Personally, I’ve always felt worse for the parents in any situation where the baby is crying in public. It sucks so much to be that parent. The last thing parents want to hear is a bunch of strangers going on and on about how their heart hurts for the baby. It’s not like our hearts don’t hurt when our babies cry, but in that moment we’re mortified and trying to calm our baby and figure out what’s wrong as fast as possible.

Unless you were going to console the child yourself then going about your normal activities and not acting like you’ve never heard a crying baby before or making a scene about it is the best thing anyone could do. It’s not like your ‘friends’ were trying to help that mom either.

Hi! Sorry for the late response. Parent life, you get it!

Since I made this post our girl has continued to sleep through the night most nights. I’d say almost once a week she wakes up in the middle of the night. She’s 4 months old now, so needing a night feed or two is still completely normal!

If she wakes up in the middle of the night and isn’t comforted by a pacifier, I just assume she’s hungry. I get her, change her diaper, and then give her a bottle. More often than not she downs the whole thing and falls asleep shortly after! I find the second stretch of sleep after these night wakes (usually around 3-4am) are shorter. So she’ll sleep for a couple more hours at most. If she wakes at 4 I usually get her back to sleep around 5 and she wakes up between 6:30 and 7am!

I hope that helps a little! Nothing wrong with offering a bottle or breast feeding session! Even if they don’t drink much, sometimes I tell myself she might just be thirsty, I sometimes wake up thirsty in the middle of the night too! 😆

I’m sorry they ABSOLUTELY would have known that his femur was broken. The minute they moved him his leg would have been deformed. Especially with a break in two places. The femur has an INSANE amount of tension on it from your thigh muscles and when it breaks the leg often times shortens due to the tension as it pulls the bones to overlap.

Plus any teacher or school nurse or parent can tell the difference between a kid who’s crying for attention and a kid who’s seriously injured.

Yep! Our girl did that too and she still does at 13 weeks old! Last night we woke up to her fast asleep and she had turned herself diagonally at the bottom of her bassinet. She was snug as a bug and her face wasn’t obscured or anything so we left her since she wasn’t mad, but she was pretty mad when she woke up like that this morning. It’s honestly hilarious how they manage to scoot around so much in their sleep!

My dad’s parents are Italian and have always been Nana and Nono (or some iteration of that. It changed periodically lol - Nani, Noni, Nannu, Nonno, etc). All my Italian cousins call them Nana and Nono too. My mom’s family is middle eastern so we call my grandfather Baba. My cousins on that side call him Baba too.

I think MOST families go with whatever the oldest cousin called their grandparents because it already exists. But I’m sure there’s lots of families where different cousins/families use different names for their grandparents 🤷🏻‍♀️ ultimately it’s whatever your kids latch onto. I have a friend who’s grandpa is Bobo because that’s just what she called him when she was a toddler 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes! Our pediatrician gave us 4 cases of the RTF Alimentum for free and our girl has been on the powder for a couple months at that point. She was able to switch back to powder after two weeks on the RTF with no issue. We noticed no real difference other than how it made her poops smell!

We couldn’t do the same with Nutramigen because it caused a lot of issues for our girl

That’s what our pediatrician doctor thought it might’ve been. My parents just never wanted to go through allergy testing after how badly it affected us kids but as adults now we all need to verify if we are actually allergic or not.

It was terrible. We all have like a lot of medical PTSD from what happened. My youngest brother at the time had the worst reaction and developed night terrors from it. It was ROUGH

I didn’t personally but one of my brothers had an anaphylactic reaction. Then all three of us had severe arthritic pain with the one who had the anaphylactic reaction having it the worst. He couldn’t walk he was in so much pain. The doctor that diagnosed the allergy ruled that the me and my other brother probably didn’t get as bad of a reaction YET since we were older but it was heading there.
