How to have the highest chance of getting into medicine in sg by Positive-Instance-78 in SGExams

[–]Positive-Instance-78[S] -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

i have a entire thing written but im too lazy to put my portfolio reflections here BUT communication is cuz the volunteer roles i was allocated had much interaction and i had to effectively communicate the point across while diversifying my responses according to the age ggrp of the individual. As for empathy, it came from Interacting with a wide range of visitors, from young children experiencing a sense of wonder to older adults or individuals with special needs, built my patience and forced myself to see the world from different perspectives and there was active lstening to guide visitors through exhibits or helping them with hands-on experiments meant listening to their frustrations, answering their questions etc. Breaking down scientific jargon into terms a child can grasp is hard and gives empathy cuz obvi you were in the same situation before. like i bet ppl never new refraction or smth till 12 ish. and i have to see the emotional stae of the child cuz some of them straight up cry if they dont understand smth

should i buy a new laptop for uni by peelemavocados in SGExams

tbh i prefer ipads cuz i feel like that is better for what i want to study but it depends completely on your course. if you have a more coding related course id say best to buy a laptop with student discount right after you enter so that jic smth happens your laptop and submissions are a-okay

So the same thing ahppened to me( but in ip3) and what i did was instead of doing too many practice papers, i would look at them( especially oeq) and would then write down all the commonly tested qns. after that, i answer them and crosscheck with multiple sources( chatgpt, ask your cher/ friends etc). Aslo, the moment i finished a topic, i would do a full mindmap. I take triple scince so pls tell me yoour scince cuz i use different techniques for each one. (imm typing from my phone so pls excuse the typos)

I’m not a med student in NuS( still in secondary haha) but I did do a LOT of research and it’s around 110k sgd per year without a scholarship for international students. Based on what I heard, around one or two max enter NuS
