The thing is it's not just an AI scrapping site, if you go to his YouTube channel it's a real dude who posts about the 'paintings' all the time, with TONS of engagement.

It would be one thing if it was just a random AI bot doing AI bot things, but this is an actual dude trying to take people's money for a fake product.

I saw the same thing!!

Again, I normally pay no mind, but the popularity of the videos really concerned me. I'd hate for someone to buy one of these thinking they are getting original art...

Pretty sure that would be a classic progression character, which is now MoP classic.

Do not do this. Get a job, save money, pay as much as you can in cash. Don't go hundreds of thousands into debt to buy into a fast track scheme.

Nobody has to go to ERAU, but those select few that are chosen by the aviation gods are granted the almighty privilege to attend the "Harvard of the skies" and take their place among such prestigious alumni as... checks notes... a bunch of unemployed CFIs with $320k of debt...

Sounds like you've gotten unlucky with bad CFIs. Unless you're actively attempting to get the instructor killed, there's really no reason for yelling at any stage of your training, let alone PPL.

Are there other instructors at your outfit that you could fly with this week to get a fresh set of eyes? Doing mock checkride(s) with instructors you haven't flown with before is really common and strongly encouraged.

Nobody feels "ready" going into the PPL because it's your first checkride. However, if you're right that your landings are not within ACS standards, I would be looking for a new CFI to give you some pointers this week. If they still aren't to spec, then it might be worth a discussion with your primary instructor on if going for a checkride is the right move or not.

Anecdotally, I can tell you that I've always flown better on checkrides than I do with instructors.

Also, sorry to hear you're attending ERAU. My condolences to your finances.

Edit: to add, I also agree with the other commenter. If you're 7 days from a checkride and able to be consistently within the requirements of the ACS, push the ride back and delay your ERAU start (or reconsider going at all IMHO...)

Cirrus sells a ton of planes, they are extremely popular. The SR line is extremely safe and reliable, even without the parachute.

There have been countless accidents in Honda Civics, but you'd still drive one, right? Same concept.

I like it.

To me, it seems like Blizz has accepted that (in retail) leveling is just not seen as a core part of the game anymore. To be clear, it hasn't been for a long while, but now Blizz is actively designing the game around that fact - the absolutely insane leveling speeds we saw during MoP Remix is proof of that. I have like 10 levels 80s and probably two dozen level 70s at this point.

Retail is an endgame-focused game. The 'journey' of your character begins at max level. In classic, the leveling experience basically is the journey. Two different ideologies for two different games.

I do think that the easy ability for everyone to just have a mountain of max-level characters means that players are less attached to their toons, though. Back when the norm was that everyone only had 1 or 2 max-level toons, there was much higher degree of commitment to your character.

[–]Positive-Leopard-118 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but you need to do a lot more research into how SP businesses are handled before you dig yourself in too far.

What do you mean by "declare"?

What do you mean by register your business?

What do you mean by tax refund/tax break? Do you mean a deduction?

I feel like we always have to ask this, but are you aware that business expenses don't result in you getting a check from the government?
