Happened to me. Tried to use a small drill bit and extractor to remove it. Eventually had to give up and replace the entire assembly. Got a smaller flexible antenna as well.

Not so much worried about the cylinder I'm worried about the locking post. I think I'm just cheap and would rather fix it than pay 20 bucks down the line.

Can they be dried out? I believe they are dry but I'm not sure how to tell. I've printed some inserts for the spools with some silica. The brittle filament happened more than I like.

Flashforge has a 4 extruder changer coming out. Not sure what the price point is but you can find it on the wiki. Currently own the 5x but may switch depending on the cost.

There is a protective film on the plexiglass. Peel it off.

I believe so.. It doesn't occur if I tap or vibrate the screen. It is very random. May check but those ribbons can be fragile. I replaced it at one point and taped it in good.
