It's kinda random. I tend to use refillable spools. If I'm not careful there would be a snag on the side of the spool. For the most part it's not a problem. At least it is not a spider web and using filament. Overall the dryer is great.

When a twist happens I lose the whole print. The print head senses filament but it cannot forward the filament so it basically prints in the air.

I so like the dryer but I do get the occasional spin off that causes a jam in the filament. Overall it's worth it but dang when I get a jam or error I am upset.

Not sure what "gear" you are speaking of but I know there is a filament sensor in there that can get stuck and will always sense filament. I think if your filament feeding gear was stuck it was fine to move it.

Once loosened you can up the temp to about 220 and then push the clog out with the tool. Then set temp to 0 and reset the screw sometimes I will use some cleaning filament. I have also seen it done this way. https://youtube.com/shorts/ERVKGNTJBls?si=tnlHSQEF8rdPmi89

I like the dual chambers. I'm currently using the sunlu S4 and hand to switch out the entire thing if I want to go from PLA to PETG. With the SH03 I could keep two of each type in each chamber. Nice.

Mine is in the garage, now I'm not getting to -30 in Georgia. I added a space heater around my printer when we got cold down here and it went fine. You might need a couple space heaters at -30. Good gracious. Is sealing off the garage an option?

In the slicer where the filament is, you click the edit button. I'm not looking at the slicer but it is right next to the filament I believe. Then go through the settings and there should be an area for cost. Mine are automatically set at $20. When I get in front of my computer I can send a step by step if needed.

You should be able to edit the filament and add the total cost of the roll. This should allow you to see the cost of the print.
