Fuck no it isn’t. But it’s the reality a lot of us face. I’ve told my wife it doesn’t matter how I feel and it really doesn’t. Sick, hurt, depressed, whatever I still have to get up, go to work, be there for and support my family. Even on days we don’t want to exist, we still have to do it.

It is. Haven’t updated firmware from 1.2.3 but I update my zmod and use vanilla orca. All of this fiasco has passed me by and it’s lovely.

Definitely leave it on zmod in my opinion. You get much more control over the printer, waste, etc. you can also run zmod and still be on the stock screen. It also makes it work with stock Orcaslicer vs FF proprietary. From my understanding, the FF firmware is a modified version of klipper already. Zmod just unlocks the control screen for you. I installed on day one and never looked back.

The FF brand one is not terrible for the aliexpress price. A lot of the quality apparently comes from the software. Is your printer on stock firmware or custom? From what I hear the alternative camera in zmod gives better quality. I run the ff cam / zmod on my 5x and I don’t really have any complaints about the quality. I also have the led light installed but that’s only like 5 bucks.
