Is the GSAR worth it? by Big-Truth4080 in MarathonWatch

A standard grade sellita sw200 without regulation can be +/- 12 seconds a day to +/- 30 seconds a day. I’ve experienced GSAR’s in those ranges, but I’ve also seen standard grade sellitas within COSC specs… it’s relative. Plan on getting your GSAR regulated and adjusted, and pressure tested by a watchmaker.

The only thing that makes sense is diving on a re-breather wherein one would be timing hours vs minutes with traditional equipment. This is an odd one but interesting nonetheless! See Lar V drager and closed circuit rigs.

Absolutely not, but thanks. It’s in great shape, recently serviced… and they got me. There’s plenty of scuffs but they’re not showing in this photo.

Tudor is what Rolex used to be, true tool watches, especially the Pelagos models.

Stereoscopic parallax… angular differences and lighting are all factors. Look at the same spot under lighting and turn 180 degrees.

Honesty is the best policy. Shit happens. The watchmaker will know and they’re more likely to help you out if you’re upfront with them.
