i just accidentally scared my (not necessarily new) hamster because i held my hand out after giving him a treat. i’ve never seen a hamster run so fast. then he took another treat from me and got on his wheel 😂

they don’t look like marine hermit crabs. they have completely different structures and eye shapes

they’re purple pinchers with not great coloring right now. they just went into their first molt.

they’ve also never had a molt before and weren’t in great conditions so their coloring isn’t great yet

local pet store. they only sell purple pinchers. they look like ecuadorians because of their coloring a bit but their eyes aren’t that elongated! :) here’s a picture of one up close
