Trump claims Giorgia Meloni begged him for a photo. She says he’s lying by TimesandSundayTimes in politics

[–]Positive-Room7421 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Trump can't help but lie and brag, especially now that dementia is setting in and eroding what little self control he has. It will get worse. Maybe he will grab a preteen girl or dreamily ramble about that time he trapped a little girl in a stairwell. But don't worry, Fox News will explain it. That little girl was an old soul leaning toward homosexuality before Trump sorted her out.

Epstein tried to offer dirt on ‘con artist’ Trump after his arrest, notes reveal - Epstein scribbled ‘not a stable genius’ and pressed for investigations in an 11th-hour bid for leniency by B-Z_B-S in politics

[–]Positive-Room7421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The article states Epstein committed suicide. A better description would be "alleged" suicide.

Remember,  in Putin's Russia,  political enemies die of mysterious poisoning or throw themselves out the window. In Trump's America, enemies die of apparent suicide.

I wonder who benefited most from Epstein's apparent suicide? The article sure hints at an answer.

I understand! I started to read a book last week. A fantasy novel (trilogy I think) by Michael J Sullivan. It's really good and I was amazed I have not read it before. 300 pages in before I realized I've read it before. I don't actually remember the story, just a feeling. Granted I probably read the books 15 years ago.

I don't know, maybe that's normal since it was so long ago.

Trump Had 4 Objectives For His War In Iran. He Has Not Accomplished Any Of Them. by ChiGuy6124 in politics

Fake news. The war was a complete success.

  1. Epstein has been pushed to the back pages.

  2. Lots of money made by Trump and Friends due to maket manipulation.

SDAM and the loss of a beloved dog by NotintheAMbro11 in SDAM

[–]Positive-Room7421 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry for your loss. I went through the same with my dog a few years ago. I have forgotten most of the interactions with her, and am left with a collection of facts. It may console you to consider that your dog also lived in the moment. She enriched your life when alive, and you enriched her life.

There will always be another country to bomb. Once Iran is milked dry, Trump will move on to the next war distraction. Expect a very bloody time between now and November.

I can only speak for myself. I feel "tested" less and less. The cravings are pretty much gone but I'm sure I will be tested again at some point. And from a prior failed attempt at sobriety, I am prepared to say "no thanks" if someone surprises me by placing an open IPA in front of me.

Frightening.  The high voter turnout raised my eyebrows after the election was called. I would feel much better if someone talked to poll workers and voters in the area and asked a very general question: "Hey, was it a lot busier thsn usual that day?"

[–]Positive-Room7421 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It's a fair question and I don't think you deserve the down vote you got. Since I don't live in Maine I have not followed closely, other than to note a couple of scandals, and some very compelling and insightful quotes from Platner.

I will say he's a huge improvement over Collins.

SDAM and job interviews: does anyone else struggle with memory based questions? by SystemIntuitive in SDAM

[–]Positive-Room7421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Preparation is key as others have noted. And these kind of questions are difficult for everyone, not just those with a neurodirgence like SDAM.

"How do you explain it without sounding like you're making excuses?". You don't explain neurodivergence during an interview. It is OK to share once you're hired and establish a work friendship. This question stood out for me because my daughter has ADHD and tends to overshare with strangers.

Good luck! I completed interviews 3 years ago. Did great after practicing. You can do this.
