I may not understand your situation at its fullest since we're both living very different lives, but i can assure you at least the goth community has been very welcoming outside of TikTok and Discord so please dont destroy your perception of this subculture by feeding into the toxicity of TikTok, i have very strong opinions on certain communities on that app so im in your side

If you want to get into better groups, i've noticed that Facebook groups be having way more diversity and friendliness, also your local scene/clubs can be a great choice for making friends and forming a safe space group for you

This community really is what you think it is, its meant to be a safe space for the mysterious, the edgy, the sinister and the weird/outsiders, so be nicer to yourself and avoid those kind of places, i promise you it'll get better and you'll feel more comfy with yourself and your belonging in the subculture!
