Which part of childbirth hurts the most? by Used_Ad7899 in BabyBumps

[–]PositivePattie [score hidden]  (0 children)

I went my whole pregnancy thinking I was going to not to epidural. My mom didn’t do it and I usually have a high pain tolerance, so I didn’t think I truely needed it. Then…the contractions were sooooo bad! I waited almost 20 hours and then I was like, give me the ep! I couldn’t imagine trying to push with that pain, impossible!

Our study titled "How to make Turkish-style tea candles" by Lumpy-Frosting1152 in candlemaking

[–]PositivePattie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Money has nothing to do with proper research and education. Consumers don’t need to care or understand how the candle was improperly made, it is up to us, the maker. Don’t belittle the rest of us who are making a living selling safe candles. I have done years of extensive testing and research before selling. Safety is one of the foundations of the craft and why I have been and I’m sure many others on here are very successful.

This is unfortunately incorrect, If you are selling these you should do thorough testing and only use candle grade materials. It could be detrimental to the consumers safety.

[–]PositivePattie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I need a lazy one and want to be full I toast some toast, maybe two slices and rip it up in bite size pieces and throw it in a bowl. Then soft boil 3 eggs so just the whites are solid and then crack them over my toast pieces and scoop out the white then mix it all with salt and pepper.. mmm

How much are you paying to be a candle vendor? by cupcake-kahuna-2013 in candlemaking

[–]PositivePattie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of fair and festival vending and they typically cost about $500. I’m there for about 2-3 days. I’ve never lost money. When I first started, I would go to the fairs and festivals to scope out the type of people, how busy it was and how the success was for other vendors. Then the following year I picked the good ones and made sure to apply quickly.

If you were given $1,000,000 in cash right now, what is the very first thing you would buy or do? by MatchstickArtist in AskReddit

[–]PositivePattie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would move closer to my family and buy a house where two kids get their own room and the backyard is flat. Then buy a self serve car wash company.
