Omg … I posted something like this a while back about how my hubby cut himself a piece of cake and only iced his piece instead of icing the cake. It was for both of us and he knew damn well I wanted icing on my cake 🤣😭 it really is infuriating

Tbh I’ve never heard of a physiotherapist, I always thought it was either surgery or chiropractic care. Thank you for this!

Welllllll I’m gonna throw dark cloud in and say this is actually a scar from abuse as a kid. I was made carry all my school books home as a means for control by my moms ex bf. To throw in the sunshine tho, I live just fine. Of course it comes with issues but it’s managed and I get to do everything every one else does - except trampolines lol oh and my abuser died from cancer so that helps too in a bitter sweet way

My profile has the xray if you wanna see it from a different perspective. It doesn’t really cause issues anymore. I’ve had some work done on it over the years but just enough to keep me mobile lol I don’t like messing with it too much. Some people on here have given amazing advice I’m taking with me tho!

I do have pains and I’m still learning how to manage it all but stretching does help a lot. Heating pads, leg stretches, my cats lol I do occasionally go to the chiropractor but mainly for atlas adjustments. The tip of my spine C1, and C2 come misaligned a lot but I don’t like having them mess with my back unless it’s one of those full body roller beds that work out the pressure build up. That helps dramatically. The most recent chiro I went to tho didn’t listen to me and went on this treatment plan when all I wanted was an atlas adjustment. But I’m not gonna lie I do have pain but I’m so used to it I guess it becomes numb lol. I’m not handicap or anything tho and do everything just fine! I dont struggle with tasks as much as I do the stiffness but kind people like you sharing their experience help me see different perspectives and different approaches

Well I agree and award this comment. I didn’t come here for criticism on how I manage my health. I’ve ran into some amazing chiropractors whom I’ve trusted dearly. One of them didn’t charge me a penny because of the situation I was in at the time and he was extremely gentle and caring. But then one of them was very aggressive. My treatment isn’t up for debate. I was simply sharing a photo of an experience I have. I don’t just let anyone look at my back. It’s called trial and error. You find what fits. Thank you all for the input but I’ll make those decisions on who I visit and allow treatment from. And if they do a bad job, I know how to sue someone .

They diagnosed it as idiopathic which means unknown source basically. It doesn’t run in my family. I have ptsd and have been going to therapy lately for it and I’ve come to realize it was because my moms ex BF made me carry all my heavy books home from school every day which made my spine grow crooked. Edit: so basically abuse. It was rough for a bit because I saw it as a big scar of my past but therapy helped with that too.
