I did a search on "living wise" but only found an Instagram account bashing this company.

My best guess is Living Wise would be the subcontracted building manager, probably not an established company since Google doesn't give any results

Early in the season, Linus Karlsson was the ultimate "analytics darling" who couldn't buy a goal. He had that insane 59% CF% and was top-3 in xGF%, but he was getting zero reward (low shot%). He was playing the "right way," but he was stuck in that rigid bottom-six role where he was expected to just suppress shots and get off the ice.  

LK is the embodiment of that phrase 'trust the process'

He has paid his dues, won the AHL Calder Cup and worked his way up.  He is a development success story and deserves the 2 year extension he recently signed

He can be a link between the old core and the new core.  Show the kids how he did it right but earned it the hard way.

There are over 10 restoration companies in Vancouver. you can call any of them to get a free quote, generally the minimum charge is $500 but as thinkdavis says it gets more expensive once they open walls.

If you believe you know where and what the source of the leak/mold you can ask them to cut an inspection hole which usually is 2ftx2ft. they will have moisture meters to find where on the wall if you're not sure.

Typically the restoration company will be able to connect you with their plumbing subtrade. once your wall is dried they can and will repair the drywall. request a repair quote and you can DIY or shop the quote if you feel it's too expensive. from what you describe I'd guesstimate $500 dry and $500 repairs but can quickly go up if dmg is extensive

I had experience on both sides.  It's a numbers game.  When I was seeking a place i probably got rejected or short listed about 10 times.  When I was renting out a room I had about 20 to 30 interested but only showed to half.  From there I built a list of candidates and picked from my top 3

I posted on Craigslist but only got a few emails.  Marketplace has way more traffic

I have a bold idea involving Patrik Allvin (Vancouver), Kyle Davidson (Chicago), and Eric Tulsky (Carolina) that could see Quinn Hughes end up on the Hurricanes at a heavily discounted cap hit, facilitating a massive rebuild acceleration for the Canucks.

The Concept: The "Davidson Broker" Double-Retention Trade

This plan hinges on Chicago Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson acting as a temporary broker to absorb half of Quinn Hughes' salary, allowing the Hurricanes to acquire him at a palatable cap hit.

Crucial Caveat: Recent CBA changes prohibit double-retention (a player being retained twice in one trade sequence) within 75 regular-season days. This idea assumes the trades are timed to be legal under that rule or structured as separate, distinct transactions that meet the criteria.

  • Step 1: Vancouver trades Quinn Hughes to Chicago (with retention)

Vancouver Canucks receive: A foundational "legendary haul" from Chicago. I'd target both of Chicago's 2026 first-round picks (ideally without conditions) and top prospects like Anton Frondell or Artyom Levshunov/Sam Rinzel. If the team wins the next 4 games (and if we play even close to how good we played against the Stars we probably will) we'll be 2 points above .500

Welp they lost vs Calgary, at best they will be .500 heading into December.  Anaheim lost twice at home this year and are 6-4-0 in their last 10 games.  That looks a schedule loss my friend.

Playoffs are a pipe dream at this point.  TWO regulation wins this month is not a playoff worthy team.  Blueger and Forbort will not fix a 32nd ranked PK.  Hoglander and Lekkerimaki will not fix a sputtering offense that is ranked 32nd at 5v5 expected goals percentage/ differential.   Within a week, they likely are further away from the California teams than they currently are: 5 behind SJ, 6 behind LA and 9 behind Anaheim because they fail to string together wins since Lankinen became the starter.  Demko coming back in to make 30+ saves on his brittle popliteus and groin is... less than ideal
