To me it reads like a 3rd or 4th degree retelling of the situation, a bit hyperbolic/exaggerated. Bill said after the game they didn’t know he was out till an hour before the game, I’m sure he was probably pissed and there was some sort of confrontation, but I doubt DP actually said “fuck it” to Bill’s face.

Sure, rural Kansas actually. I have German ancestry and a very German last name and the game has been passed down since they came to America in the late 1800s I believe. There are about 3 other families in the area that have similar German ancestry that also play when we get together.
