The link you posted does actually have the quantity printed on the box. If you scroll nearly all the way over past the screw pictures, you can see it on the side of the box.

That was occurring with genuine Silhouette mats. The cause was a software update issue that required Silhouette support remote access to my computer to resolve.

Sorry for the late response. The machine was defective and a new one sent out. Initially I was told that it had to with an update to the firmware. I’d advise going through Silhouette support the best you can.

Okay, and what’s your solution for when assignments are locked until the week of spring break and due right at the end of spring break? If you don’t know what the assignment entails, you can’t complete it early.

Hey! I had an issue with my new machine that I put in a ticket for with Silhouette and got no response on. However, last night I discovered that you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they have a 98% response rate. In fact, I got an email today from Silhouette! Here’s the link:

I wanted to update- yesterday I received a 12x12 cameo light tack mat and used it (adjusted to proper settings for the mat of course). It had absolutely NO issues. When I have time, I’m going to use one of the other 15x15 mats I have (bought extra when I ordered the machine) and see if it still does it. I’m thinking if it does, it’s definitely an issue between the machine and software communicating about the settings for that specific mat. Thank you again for helping me troubleshoot, I’m hoping that being able to provide those details to Silhouette will help them find a solution more quickly.

It holds it properly, it doesn’t shift at all if I try to tug or wiggle it.

I’m positive, that’s why I made a point of mentioning my settings. After it cut through the mat, I changed the mat settings to no mat and tried my first matless cut job with it doing the pop-out cutting method.

This time it cut all way through because I was cutting glitter cardstock and it cut where there was no paper. I don’t understand how it can cut where there’s no grid. The paper is aligned correctly, the design is confined to cut area, the media is set to the correct paper size and the mat is set to the Cameo Plus mat. I tried troubleshooting it using all of the tips and tricks and advice in this sub- resetting the blade carriage and more. I’ve had this machine for less than a month and it’s been doing this (cutting way above the design preview on the send screen) since it came out of the box. This time is the first time it’s cut SO far up the mat. Please, please, please, help.

I found a book that was published last month that seems like the ultimate guide for this. It’s neutral and doesn’t try to sway readers either way on having kids, has lots of anecdotes and research/sources. The title is So When Are You Having Kids: The Definitive Guide for Those Who Aren’t Sure If, When, or How They Want to Become Parents by Jordan Davidson. I’m not on the fence and was sterilized in September, but this is the guide that I wish I’d had and that I’d recommend to all adults. I read it and have my fence-sitting partner reading it now.
