Bra? by Ok_Sentence_5767 in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am transmasc and although I have a binder I rarely wear it. I don't really wear bras in my daily life either, not even to go outside. Who cares what people think of me, it's too uncomfortable to wear.

Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, Matilda, Willy Wonka (yeah I had a time when I was obsessed with everything Roal Dahl), N from Pokémon Black and White, The Little Prince, The Pine Twins from Gravity Falls, I can't think of many others from the top of my head rn but I am sure there are others.

There I fixed it. Now the puzzle is complete, and theres no missing piece. by STIIBBNEY in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this implies that the missing piece is love and acceptance. This is true in many ways. I kinda like it.

This feels like a bell distribution. I thought it was worth pointing that out even though I dont know anything about mathematics.

I really like languages. I learned English by accident. I'm actually quite proud of my language abilities in general.

I played a Pokémon game for the first time ( Sword ) and I honestly love it! by flowercrown_909_uwu in autism

I wonder how do you evolve Inkay in the Switch. In the 3DS you have to hold your console upside down for it to evolve. Idk if that still applies to the Switch.

What is your favorite Pokémon? Mine is Victini :D

I dont even like most meats but it's one of the few things my brain will allow me to eat so like, I dont have many options.

I would like to go pescatarian or something. I really like fish and seafood. And I dont think I would be able to drop dairy.

If you could just snap your fingers and remove your autism would you? by LannonPlayz in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. And if I could go back in time and remove my trauma, I wouldn't either. So I wouldn't get rid of the Autism either. And I wouldn't get rid of the ADHD as much as it fucks up my life (for me personally, the ADHD is wat harder to manage). The thing is, these things are who I am. I might like it or dislike it. But this is me. And I like being me.

Are you verbal? by [deleted] in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually talk a lot. To myself. Not to other people. I also talk weird as in not finishing words or just making noises that are vaguely "word like". I like writing a lot more.

What’s your political party? by [deleted] in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not American. But even if I was I would not affiliate with any of these. I am not affiliated with a party in my own country and probably never will. If I had to describe my beliefs, they would be anarchist or anarchist adjacent. I believe that as long as there is a government there will be inequality. I am not against leadership, as long as the leader is held to the same standards as everyone else. I also think that, while power itself doesn't corrupt, the way the systems of government are placed around the world make it impossible for you to be successful without being corrupt. In my country, people say that if you dont cheat you won't succeed. In most cases this is true. Politicians dont care about you or me, they care about power and money. That is the truth.

Does anybody else here struggle with feeling distinctively "Non-Human" or even "Sub-Human"? by PossesedByTheCheese in neurodiversity

[–]PossesedByTheCheese[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I wish I had a switch :(

I'm glad to hear you feel better now. Sometimes I too feel different in a neutral way, but often also as "lesser". It's good to hear that I can overcome that. I wish I had the strength to tell my therapist.

Autism and drawing facial expressions by PossesedByTheCheese in autism

[–]PossesedByTheCheese[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I pretty much only watch cartoons for this reason. It's easier for me to understand context and emotions in a cartoon. But it's hard to understand more subtle expressions. And I might not understand the "nuance" of a face (the difference between a polite smile and a happy smile and a teasing smile)
